In this capacity they will be responsible for ensuring accurate retrieval, archival, storage, and destruction of HR records. Additionally, they will assist with providing internal client groups, employees, and external third parties with support services for all inquiries and requests for HR data and records.This role will provide accurate and efficient support for HR transactions and information requests in areas such as:

  • Data and Records Management
    • Organization and scanning of archived documents into a digital format
    • Retrieval of records and information
    • Providing insight and analysis for improved document management strategies
    • HR Data Integrity
  • HR Operations Support
    • HR with the production of confidential letters/memos/reports
    • Respond to routine requests and liaise with payroll, external consultants and third-party service program providers
In addition, the HR Data and Records Analyst performs a variety of general HR support functions, assisting other process improvement and operational tasks undertaken by the HR Support Systems Operations team. The HR Data and Records Analyst may also perform additional duties which support and/or coordinate HR Support Systems departmental activities and responsibilities.We want the selected candidate for this opportunity to be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with a variety of HR experience such as the qualifications outlined below.
  • Diploma in General Business/Office Administration/Human Resources
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources environment
  • Knowledge of employment-related legislation as well as collective agreements, terms and conditions of employment and College directives/policies/procedures.
  • Working knowledge of key HR functions - Payroll, Labour Relations, Talent, Compensation & Benefits, Pensions, Learning & Development.
  • Excellent client service skills, empathy, confidentiality, tact, diplomacy.
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken), problem solving, resolution and time management skills.
  • Recognition of the requirement for maintenance of confidentiality regarding all information and activities within an HR work environment.
  • Advanced Proficiency with computer software, in particular with Word and Excel.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and prioritization. With the ability to focus on High Detail work tasks for an extended period of time.
  • Problem solving and resolution.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Oracle HR Cloud experience preferred).
This role also requires the incumbent to be comfortable with moderate physical effort such as regular, ongoing physical or sensory effort for a quarter to half of the work period for up to 2 hours at a time without the opportunity to switch tasks or take a break.Physical tasks include, but are not limited to, walking or standing for extended durations and/or lifting or carrying objects from 20 - 40 lbs.What’s In it for you
