Job Description

  • Managing freight broker/Carrier and supplier’s relationships
  • Sourcing freight and ocean carrier rates and coordinate imports into North America
  • Arrange ocean containers as necessary for imports in North America
  • Schedule in house trucking for pickup and deliveries
  • Arrange outsourced freight for pickup and deliveries
  • Coordinate trucking activities and follow-up with other departments
  • Follow up with trucking carriers/Freight Broker/Ocean Freight Brokers on pick up and deliveries
  • Prepare order/shipping/return tickets, bill of ladings and import/cross-border customs documents
  • Inventory: Tracking, updating, moving between Branches & Sites, cycle count, Inventory count,
  • Respond quickly and in a professional manner to any logistics related inquiries or issues
  • Working with personal computer and various software (e.g., Windows, Office, QuickBooks);
  • 3-5 years of experience in transportation and customs compliances
  • Any other duties related to Logistics and Inventory
  • A diploma from a recognized college or school is an asset
