Our graduates are collaborative, highly skilled, career-ready professionals with the creative aptitude, entrepreneurial ability, and resourcefulness needed to lead and innovate wherever the story takes them.Job DetailsPosition Title: Music Operations ManagerStatus: PT AdministrationHours: 24 hoursFaculty/Department: Faculty of Media & Creative ArtsCampus/Location: Lakeshore CampusSalary: (Min) $31.85 (Max) $47.77 per hourWhat you will do:The Music Operations Manager provides academic and administrative leadership, supervision and direction to the professors and students of the Faculty, in the music portfolio of programs. The Music Operations Manager oversees the music productions, performances, schedules, recitals, adjudications, ensembles, private lessons, artists-in-residence, producers-in-residence, and the corresponding student registration and problem solving. Additionally, the Music Operations Manager will engage in an ongoing process of needs-assessment and facilitate the development of contracts, including tracking the process from start to finish.What you bring to the role:Education

• Specialized University Degree in the area(s) of performance, music, creative arts, events management, or cultural management.

Experience

• 5 years related experience, including 3 years of event coordination, schedule management, related logistics work as well as experience supervising student workers or staff.
