Job Description

Join the Radisson BLU Toronto Downtown Hotel as a Night Auditor!We are currently recruiting for a full-time and part-time Night Auditor to work at the Radisson BLU Toronto Downtown Hotel. The Night Auditor works the overnight shift, keeping an eye on the building, assisting guests and fulfilling the financial reporting function for the hotel’s daily operation. Night Auditor’s Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests at every opportunity and assist with late arrival check-ins and early morning departures, upon arrival, all while providing a warm and friendly experience.
  • Administer all night audit functions, including but not limited to, balancing all revenues and settling accounts nightly.
  • Ensure that all daily transactions are reconciled and accounted for in accordance with set policies and procedures.
  • Ensure guest billing is accurate and that financial controls are thoroughly followed.
  • Greet all incoming and outgoing calls in a professional and timely manner;
  • Resolve guest concerns, assist guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, check cashing, gift shop, safety boxes etc.
  • Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Service Express Bellman or Agents.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
  • As the key team members working during the overnight shift, responsible for responding to emergency situations (training is provided).
  • Follow through on daily tasks and key responsibilities, driving a culture of teamwork and fun!
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications for the Role:
  • Previous experience working at a Hotel Guest Service Agent or Night Audit is a definite asset.
  • Experience working in a customer service role is an asset. Demonstrated exceptional guest/customer service skills with a passion for anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Possesses a basic understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and positive attitude.
  • Proven customer service skills and resolving customer concerns.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Word and Excel, and experience with a Property Management System is an asset.
  • Strong organization skills and a proficient multi-tasker.
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to initiate action and complete projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Must be available to overnight shift (typically 11pm-7am), including, weekends and holidays. On occasion, may be required to assist with shifts during the day or evening.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
