The position works in a hybrid arrangement.Salary: As per Article 14.03, A 3 of the Academic Collective Agreement, a Coordinator’s allowance will be paid in addition to the successful candidate’s salary as a Professor.What you will do:In addition to their teaching responsibilities and under the leadership of the Academic Manager, the incumbent will contribute to the following:

  • Establish an effective learning environment and work as a collaborative team member.
  • Curriculum Development including program mapping and review, and
  • Develop and maintain Continuous Improvement Processes
  • Develop and maintain student success strategies and assess student progress.
  • Establish processes and meet Engineering Accreditation requirements
  • Support Project-Based Learning Activities
  • Play an active role in Student Advisement and Recruitment Processes (Transfer credit, PLAR) as well as Pathways development.
  • Participate in Humber College/Departmental committees, including PAC Meetings, and advance college initiatives.
  • Contribute to the overall direction of the program, assisting with the promotion, marketing of the program, developing, and maintaining strong industry ties to the degree program.
What you bring to the role:The successful candidate will be a full-time Professor from the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology at Humber College, with a minimum of two years of teaching experience; possess well-developed interpersonal communication and problem solving skills; and demonstrated ability in curriculum development with preference given to those candidates with experience in holdersal Design for Learning strategies. The successful candidate will be a Ph.D and hold a P. Eng. designation.What’s In it for you
