Job Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring manufactured products meet all standards of quality, reliability, and performance with an overarching goal of eliminating product deficiencies and improving client satisfaction.This position will work towards identifying the following:

  • Is this product quality compliant or not
  • How many and which quality rejects did I find today
  • What defect category comes up the most
  • Where do the errors potentially come from, and what and where can I communicate to reduce those
Responsibilities
  • Visually and mechanically inspect products at various stages of production.
  • Check for defects, improper assembly, paperwork, finishes per customer order and ensure that products meet Customer requirement and Tayco’s quality standards checklist.
  • Conduct measurements and tests using measuring tools.
  • Work with production teams, Supervisors, and Managers to address defects and quality issues.
  • Provide feedback to adjust processes and improve product quality.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Follow established health and safety practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or quality control.
  • Certifications in quality management may be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards in the industry.
  • Attention to detail; ability to detect small defects or inconsistencies in products.
  • Technical knowledge; familiar with production equipment, inspection tools, and quality standards.
  • Problem solving; ability to identify the source of issues and suggest solutions.
  • Communication skills; clearly document and report issues and provide feedback to production teams.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000Benefits
