  • Engage with clients to capture and understand their vision, addressing design challenges head-on.
  • Collaborate with our talented fabrication and design teams to develop precise timelines and budgets.
  • Develop detailed proposals for various procurement models, including ROM, stipulated price, design-assist, and design-build.
  • Calculate project costs, considering materials, labour, design, logistics, and installation.
  • Communicate complex fabrication solutions using 3D illustrations, descriptions, and diagrams
  • Shape project outcomes by creating robust, buildable approaches and selecting suitable materials and processes.
  • Review bid documents to ensure proposals are accurate and complete.
  • Build strong relationships with material vendors and service partners.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
  • Continuously refine project development and estimating processes to drive greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay involved post-award to ensure the client’s vision is realized, and participate in post-project reviews.
  • Track industry developments to drive ongoing improvement and innovation.
ABOUT YOUTo excel in this role, you should have:
  • A passion for innovation, creativity, and cutting-edge design.
  • The ability to navigate complex processes and transform concepts into tangible solutions.
  • 10+ years of experience in relevant AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) roles.
  • Relevant education in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Excel.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams.
  • Experience in design development for complex architectural projects.
  • Practical expertise in estimating, construction tendering, and procurement.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities with clients, internal teams, and vendors.
  • Exceptional graphic and written communication skills.
  • A fearless approach to problem-solving, driven by research, resourcefulness, and innovative problem-solving.
