Job Description

Position Summary - The Kids Camp Counsellor is responsible to provide a safe and enjoyable half day/full day kids program for all guests visiting the Base Camp Operation throughout the summer months. The purpose is also to work with the basecamp team and the operation.Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate and implement kids’ camps.
  • To follow predesigned programs implemented by director of programs.
  • To ensure the safe operation of base camp area.
  • To be involved in day-day operations including activity bookings, point of sales, and daily cash outs.
  • To work as part of base camp team.
  • Co-operate and accept other assignments as and when required.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
  • Exceptional communication skills backed by a fun attitude to provide a memorable learning experience for children of all ages.
  • Standard First Aid or greater
  • Group Management Skills
  • Previous experience with children programs and the ability/knowledge to develop programs
  • High energy and spontaneous
  • Ability to change program to suit the needs/abilities of the children
