Job Description

We are looking for a hard working, dedicated individual to lead our arrangement production each holiday. If you are a positive leader and have good communication and organization skills, this could be for you!Responsibilities

  • Oversee arrangement staff and floor production
  • Ensure production efficiencies and that quantity goals are met each dayCommunicate with the Arrangements Manager regarding daily and weekly production plans
  • Help manage inventory
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with co-workers
Requirements
  • Accurate and detail oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to motivate staff and keep a positive work environment
  • Experience managing a team is an asset
  • Knowledge of flowers and arrangements is an asset
  • Experience with inventory and product quality control is an asset
Job Type: This job is a Full-time position with the potential to provide someone flexibility to their summer schedules. The hours are as follows:
  • Preparation Weeks: Monday to Friday: 8:30-4:30pm, working independently to prepare product and hardgoods for the upcoming holiday season
  • Regular Production Weeks: Monday to Friday, 7:45-5:00pm, working with the production team, creating arrangements (2 weeks before Thanksgiving, as well as November-December)
  • Peak Production Weeks: Monday to Saturday, 7:00am-Finish, likely later nights (1-2 weeks before Valentines, Easter, and Mother’s Day)
  • Depending on the Candidates preference, hours could include June, July, and August off work as well as two weeks after Christmas.
