Position: Mountain Bike CoachDepartment: Summer Sports SchoolLocation: Fernie Alpine ResortReporting to: Assistant Director of Sports SchoolAvailability: Immediate – Wed-FriResorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the position of Mountain Bike Coach, at Fernie Alpine Resort. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Sports School, the ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, mountain bike coaching certification and will be a team player. Come join our staff team and Experience the Ultimate.Duties:To ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staffProvide nonstop excellence in guest serviceInstruct, coach and guide guests of all ages, beginner to advanced ridersProvide lesson ability reports & relevant administration forms as requiredKnowledge and adherence to the Bikers Responsibility CodeGeneral on hill tasks and maintenance as requiredActing as ambassadors and hosts at various functions for the resort on and off the hillKnow and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee HandbookKnow and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management ProgramKnow and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work ProgramsTo perform other tasks and duties that are applicableQualifications:PMBIA certification (or equivalent) Level 1 minimum requirementMountain bike coaching experience an assetExcellent interpersonal skillsThrives working in a team environmentWe are seeking one certified instructor.
