Job Description

We are an artisan French bakery, located in the Rocky Mountains in Fernie, BC. We are looking for a new team member to join us start of April 2023 for the position of Sales Manager and marketing. The position covers different aspects of our business: sales and interacting with customers, marketing and administration and other management tasks.$ 22 per hourFull time 40 h per week - availabilities on weekendsLong-term positionStart : AprilDuties include : Sales :

  • Welcome customers
  • Assist the customers in choosing their products if needed
  • Manage all transactions accurately and efficiently (using POS)
  • Restock products in the shop
  • Maintain a clean working space
  • Opening/closing of the shop
  • Help with dishes
Marketing:
  • Keep the marketing planning up to date
  • Manage Facebook and Instagram page, content creation with posts and stories, giveaways
  • Manage website, update with new products and special features
  • Respond to google reviews
  • Prepare promotional posters, shop slideshow, etc
Others:
  • Manage customer online orders
  • Stock management: put and manage orders for production
  • Help with HR management
  • Statistics, ie analyze of sales
  • Keeping the POS up to date with new products
  • product quality control
We looking for someone who is :
  • Studied or experience in sales, marketing or digital marketing
  • Curious, independent, proactive who likes to do different things
  • Outgoing, welcoming, patient and friendly
  • A team player
  • Able to multitask
  • A little knowledge about French breads and pastries is an asset
  • Must be able to speak/understand some French
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $22.00 per hourSchedule:
