Park Place Lodge is currently seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our Housekeeping team, starting as soon as possible.Our Housekeeping staff must be enthusiastic and friendly with a keen eye for detail.Our ideal candidate will have a flexible work schedule, with the ability to work on weekends and holidays.Our housekeeping and janitorial duties include:-Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors-Dusting furniture and other areas-Maintaining draperies and upholstered furniture-Making beds, changing sheets-Distributing clean towels and toiletries-Stocking linen closet and supply areas-Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchens and bathrooms-Pick up debris and empty garbage-Wash windows, walls, and ceilings where required-Attend to guest needs or requests for supplies as needed-Report and store lost and found items-Provide basic information on hotel facilities-Maintaining cleanliness of the Pub, Max Restaurant, the Hotel atrium, and public areas such as banquet rooms.-Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in public washrooms-Emptying garbages-Washing windows, walls, glass enclosures, and ceilings when required-Watering plantsJob Requirements:Our Housekeeping & janitorial position requires a candidate who will be comfortable working under pressure.Our ideal candidate will be in good physical condition, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including but not limited to: handling heavy loads, working on their feet for extended periods of time, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, or sitting.Working for Park Place Lodge you will receive some great Job Incentives:– Staff accommodation available– Competitive wages and retention bonuses– Staff discounts in the Pub, Bistro, Spirits Cold Beer & Wine Store, and hotel rooms– Fitness credit– Dental credit– Discounted ski pass– Free soup, pop, coffee and teaOur ideal candidate will be in good physical condition, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including but not limited to: handling heavy loads, working on their feet for extended periods of time, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, or sitting.We require our applicants to be of a clean and professional appearance, to be organized, and to be able to work with minimal supervision.Job Types: Full-timeSalary: $18.50 per hour, plus a seasonal retention bonusJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From $18.50 per hourSchedule:
