Rocky Mountain Chocolate is looking an experienced and mature individual to join our team for the summer. This full time position has two sides. 1) Customer service 2) Assisting in chocolate production.Fernie is a tourist destination and this position requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings. In July we expand our hours to be open more evenings.The summer full-time position is partnered with the Summer Jobs Program Canada and is open to youth between 15-30 years of age. Daily activities include but not limited to open/closing the store, helping customers, keeping store clean and tidy, handling transactions/cash, creating/packaging product, organizing and welcoming customers. Chocolate production, quality of products, assisting Manager and assistant-manager.The right applicant has to be confident talking to people, friendly, go-getter, sales experience, customer service oriented, team player, high level of integrity, dependable and have a great personality.You must be able to multi-task and stay calm in a busy environment.You will also get one-on-one mentoring and leadership experience.-Must love chocolate and treats.-fast pace environment-adhere to Covid safety guidelines and health regulations.-speak clear and precise English-stand on feet for 7-8 hour shift-clean and professional presentation of self-enjoy being around children and families-organizedHaving a food safe certificate will give the applicant an advantage.35 hours a week.Wage is $17.00Start Date: June 15thOpen to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents only.Expected start date: 2021-06-15Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $17.00 per hourAdditional pay:
