Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the ideal candidate will display professionalism, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, is able to work independently with a focus on accuracy and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. Some of the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:Duties:To ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staffEnsure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staffSeek out and act upon opportunities to assist guestsComplete hotel reservations, maintaining hotel booking and cancellation policiesComplete guest check-in & check-out processesRespond to guest communication and transfer callsAssist guests in a polite and timely manner regarding all hotel and resort servicesReview daily Front Office operations including guest accounts and hotel financialsPerform the day end process for the hotel and set up the following dayIdentify and communicate opportunities to create exceptional guest experiencesKnow and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee HandbookKnow and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management ProgramKnow and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work ProgramsTo perform other tasks and duties that are applicableQualifications:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong computer skillsPrevious experience in a similar role preferredThis is a part time role requiring flexibility based on business volumes.
