Job Description - Program Coordinator (Fernie, BC)November 2022BackgroundNonstop Ski and Snowboard runs 2-11 weeklong holidays and courses. Our programs include ski and snowboard instruction, accommodation, meals, lift passes, social outings, lectures, travel and away trips.The of the role Program Co-ordinator is to deliver excellent behind-the-scenes organisation of our course operations. Through a planned, organised, coordinated, and communicated delivery of the course administration our client-facing staff and suppliers will be able to deliver exceptional experiences with the reassurance that they are truly supported by your efforts.If you are the sort of person who has office administration experience, strong Microsoft Office suite skills (especially with Excel), can plan the big picture, is equally comfortable working on finer administration tasks, then this could be the job for you.Responsibilities

  • Preparation of course notices and communications during courses
  • Manage all client data and course requirements data
  • Organisation of enrolment procedures for activities and events
  • Making and managing bookings with suppliers and maintaining supplier relationships
  • Provide organisational & office support for course hosts
  • Liaise with accounts department to establish and maintain efficient PO and invoicing systems
  • Produce trip booking notes for course hosts
  • Manage records, stock control, office systems, and CRM
  • Collection and distribution of client feedback to suppliers and colleagues
Skills and Experience
  • Office experience in roles such as program administration or event organisation
  • Knowledge of the ski industry
  • A passion for planning and efficiency
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
  • High level of computer proficiency (especially in Excel)
  • Sound numerical skills
  • Willingness to work weekends
  • Copy writing skills
Renumeration & Benefits
  • Starting wage of $24/hour
Work Hours
  • Flexible hours (as agreed with manager), but preferably daytime hours, 4 day per week between Thursday to Monday.
  • Approximately 30 hours per week 12 December to 14 April
  • Some occasional possible work between in early December and late April.
Job Types: Part-time, SeasonalSalary: $24.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
  • French not required
Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Every Weekend
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Fernie, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
  • Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
