Our frontline staff is essential to the success of our business. The cleanliness of our property and facilities are critical to exceeding our guest and owner’s expectations. Guest Services staff are often the first and last person our guests and owners communicate with. This position contributes to Fernie Lodging Company’s success by ensuring exceptional service is provided to guests, owners and other team members along with ensuring our facilities are clean and welcoming.Key Duties:Providing exceptional customer service to our guests and ownersResolve notable guest/owner challenges or report them to management in a timely fashionAssist guests with any questions and requestWelcome and orient all guests and owners to the property’s amenities and facilitiesAble to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and able to multitaskWorking closely with all departments and co-workers to ensure a streamlined guest experienceEnsuring our buildings and facilities are secure, clean and well-presentedManaging the pool reservation system and cleaning of the change roomsMaintaining and restocking housekeeping and linen rooms, as well as other facilitiesAssist housekeeping and laundry departments during busy period when neededFollowing emergency and safety proceduresOther duties and projects as assigned when requiredJob Requirements:Previous experience in a customer service focused roleExcellent command of the English language – written and verbal.
