Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the full-time winter seasonal position of Repair Technician, at Fernie Alpine Resort. Reporting to the Rental & Repair Supervisor, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, positive attitude, team player, and have previous experience working as a ski and snowboard repair technician. We focus on building and maintaining long lasting relationships with our staff and guests and encourage you to come “Experience the Ultimate” and be a part of our staff team. Some of the responsibilities for the position include, but not limited to:Duties:To ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staffTo assist and upsell guests at every opportunityAll aspects of ski/snowboard repair service including daily operations maintaining a safe and clean environmentProviding quality repair service to ensure company goals are met and guest expectations are exceededResponsible for expertly providing our guests with tunes, repairs, binding mounts, while using the machinery and tools in a safe mannerMaintain equipment fleet including, maintenance, repairs and recording dataAssist in generating sales, and accurately charging for services providedMaintain and contribute to the corporate values of RCR and Safety Management Program.Qualifications:2 years experience in a ski resort repair shop requiredKnowledge and skill in POS systems and daily cash reconciliationExperience working in a guest service focused environmentBinding certifications an asset.This is a full time winter seasonal role requiring flexibility based on business volumes.
