The primary focus is to consistently meet and exceed the expectations of our internal and external guests through timely, effective and appropriate management of daily operations of Sports Alpine Boutique.Duties:Continually strive to exceed our Guest’s experience and to create memories for guests and staff as the best mountain experience.Assist in Supervision, training, coaching and management of StaffBe Knowledgeable in all SAB policy and proceduresResponsibility for the Back of House Lightspeed POS system and data entry of all inventory and prepare product to be put on floor/ receiving documents/ invoice trackingComplete transfers to other resorts and internal departmentDeal with Vendors for warranties and creditsReconciliation for accurately completing all cash outs and record keeping.Assist in merchandizing store to ensure ideal presentation of productAssist in retail store security and risk management issuesKnow and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee HandbookKnow and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management ProgramKnow and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work ProgramsTo perform other tasks and duties that are applicableQualifications:High School graduate or equivalent, Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred1 year in a supervisory roleProven experience in retail, inventory control, cash handling, critical thinking, leadership.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher)Must be physically capable and able to lift moderately heavy items, stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items and use stepladderMust be available to work days, early evenings, weekends and holidaysThis is a winter seasonal role, offering full time hours, requiring flexibility to meet varying business volumes and demands.
