Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the WSS Sales Desk position at Fernie Alpine Resort. Reporting to the WSS Director, this full time winter seasonal position requires the ideal candidate to have winter sports school experience, strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. We focus on building and maintaining long lasting relationships with our staff and guests and encourage you to come “Experience the Ultimate” and be a part of our staff team. Some of the responsibilities for the position include, but not limited to:Duties:To ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staffTo assist and upsell guests at every opportunityCash handling and reconciliation’sIn depth accurate knowledge of all WSS products and resort eventsEnter all bookings into the resort WSS software programAnswer telephone and email information requests for all lesson and product inquiriesCreate an atmosphere of relationship building for the guests at initiation of sales and inquiry processMaintain and abide by RCR Procedure and Policy and Safety Management ProgramAssist WSS Supervisors in organization of instructing staffKnow and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee HandbookKnow and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management ProgramKnow and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work ProgramsTo perform other tasks and duties that are applicableQualifications:Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-task and work under pressurePOS system and cash handling/reconciliation experienceSki or Snowboard instructor certification an assetExcellent computer skillsExperience with Paradocs software an assetPrevious experience in a similar role an assetThis is a full time winter seasonal role.
