More sustainable.Support us as:Distribution ManagerJob-ID: 12150; Location(s): FieldJOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYThe Distribution Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of Perfect Distribution aligned with the growth plan in the assigned region. This individual will optimize the performance of existing distributors and grow the total number of productive points of distribution to support the growth plan. This key contributor will create joint business plans with key distributors and work closely with them to deliver initiatives with SMART actions and quarterly reviews to achieve sales growth and performance targets.JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

  • Develop and implement a strategic perfect distribution plan and overall responsibility of the distributor management process in the assigned region to meet and exceed budget.
  • Build strong trusting relationships with distributor principles and their operational team, by understanding their key drivers and motivations.
  • Enhance the performance of sales through distributors within the region of responsibility by proactively supporting the sales efforts and successfully driving the value propositions.
  • Proactively leads a joint business plans including training calendars that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
  • Conduct trade area review and mapping process based on focus areas to strategically implement expansion.
  • Maintains sales reports, forecasts, and business metrics; identifies business opportunities; reports on trends with distributors and products, what competitors are doing, and on new business initiatives.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt service; keeps informed on company contract procedures and product pricing; resolves complaints as needed.
  • Coordinates the involvement of sales team and other functions to meet account performance objectives and end customers’ expectations.
  • Acts as a liaison between field sales and other cross-functional teams.
  • Will be required to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong Knowledge of MS Office and SalesForce.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong and impactful business relationships.
  • Excellent business, decision-making, negotiation skills, influencing skills and value selling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability and flexibility to adapt to different situations and environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and implement financial concepts and measurements
  • Ability to train, lead and motivate a high functioning team

  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred
  • 6-8 years of progressive sales experience
  • Valid Driver’s License required
