Our industry recognition is a testament to the family values we share with our parent company, McCain Foods Limited.About the RoleLogistics CoordinatorFull-timeFlorenceville-BristolThe Logistics Coordinator is responsible to ensure a positive customer experience in the international movement of orders through carrier partners including ocean liners, air carriers, and/or dray carriers focusing on claims-free, on-time service, the protection and growth of revenue and margin while meeting and striving to exceed service expectations.How You’ll HelpReceive, analyze, and process booking information from customers in order to identify and confirm appropriate routes, verify service requirements, and enter information into CargowiseUnderstand the wide array of capabilities and schedule of designated carriers and make appropriate matches to customer requirementsCoordinate carrier bookings, follow throughout the duration of the order, and communicate with the customer, as requiredMitigate additional charges and assist with maintaining the accuracy of carrier informationEscalate issues according to established procedures in a timely, accurate and appropriate mannerWork with analysts, managers, and customers in order to quickly ad efficiently resolve issuesUnderstand industry market conditions and communicate with the entire team issues that could impact operations as a wholeOpen and maintain cases within Sales Force based on all customer inquiries/interactions via phone or e-mail.Other related duties as may be requiredYour Skills & Experience:Post secondary education, preferably in business or international logisticsA suitable combination of post secondary education and experience may be consideredPrevious experience in international, ocean and/or air logistics an assetA suitable combination of post-secondary education and experience may be consideredExceptional customer service and relationship management skillsAdvanced communication skills including the ability to relay information (verbal and written) between several parties and deliver a positive customer experienceStrong aptitude and skills with computers, including accuracy and efficiency in data entry and the use of MS Outlook, Excel & Word; experience with Sales Force and Cargowise an assetTroubleshooting and problem solving skills, with the ability to evaluate current situation, respond quickly to changing requirements, and execute accordinglyStrong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced setting, multitask and prioritize in a deadline driven environment; appropriate sense of urgencyAbility to work independently and to collaborate with others to meet customer expectationsAbility to work flexible hours to meet customer needs both locally and internationallyEnglish; French an assetAble to work with little supervisionTo apply, visit the Careers page on our website at dayross.com.Day & Ross is committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees, visitors, vendors, customers, and other members of our communities.
