Job Description

The advertising close date for this vacancy is Monday 29th January 2024.The roleTekno is recruiting an Orthopaedic Sales Specialist - Traumaamp; Upper Limb to join our growing Team in the Republic of Ireland. Tekno distributes the Stryker Portfolio of Traumaamp; Upper Limb Implants and has a strong Market Share in the Republic of Ireland.The role will be mainly based in the West of Ireland, however the candidate will be required occasionally to service other Accounts as part of the ROI Traumaamp; Upper Limb Team.The ideal candidate should be based in West of Ireland.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with key customers across Orthopaedic teams in the region to include but not limited to Theatre, CSSD and procurement
  • Daily technical support for customers in orthopaedic procedures.
  • Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Support customers with clinical, technical, and commercial inquiries
  • Annual business planning and implementation for region
  • Identify and Development of new business opportunities in each centre
  • Provide feedback/monthly reports on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace
  • Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of recon
  • Develop and assist with demonstration and training on company products
  • Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships
  • Assist Regional Manager with the implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility
  • Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings
  • Partake in the Weekend On-Call rota for the territory
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years sales in a Theatre setting.
  • Experience working in Orthopaedic theatre of benefit but not essential
  • High reliance on drive and planning and organisational skills
  • Willing to travel extensively within Ireland
  • Full training provided - will require travel
  • Must have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Must have full, clean driving license (company car provided)
