Our goal is to enhance how you experience life.The team:Our high energy, fun and professional clinic is based in Lethbridge, with a sister office in Fort MacLeod.We aim to provide amazing customer experience to our patients while providing comprehensive knowledge of their eye health and eye care. We are seeking unique candidates to bring innovative ideas, exceptional patient care and the desire to grow within our team.We are seeking someone who is outgoing, sales-focused and personable. Previous experience in vision health and understanding of both lens technology, frame trends, and style would be an asset. Comprehensive training will be provided.What this role is about:

  • Welcoming, greeting, and guiding patients and visitors to the clinic
  • Confirming information and updating any existing patient profile as required
  • Verifying and processing insurance plan for patients
  • Managing telephone calls
  • Assisting patients upon the completion of their treatment/visit and scheduling next visits
  • Take payments, and process in our computer system and the POS machine, handle cash
  • Creating a memorable experience for patients while helping them choose new eyewear and lenses based on doctor recommendations
  • Working alongside our team to ensure that the patient visit is exceptional and seamless while managing gallery flow, overseeing inventory and adjusting eyewear
  • Perform duties and optical dispensing as well as demonstrating eagerness and creativity to enhance the eye care services
  • Ability to learn and grasp new products and technology

  • Experience in retail sales and customer service is an asset

  • Ensuring information is clearly, appropriately, and confidentially communicated to the Team
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a group
  • Take initiative and be able to tackle tasks with little supervision
  • Background in an optical setting is preferred
  • Candidates with an Optician diploma or Ophthalmic Assistant certificate are considered an asset, however not required
