Fort Qu'Appelle MarketplaceHours:CasualDescription:Prairie Co-operative is hiring Casual Cashier/Clerks at our Food Centre located in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.Position: Cashier/ClerksJob type: Casual (15 hours/week)Vacancy: 3Who we are:Co-op does business differently. To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at www.prairieco-op.crsWhat you’ll do:Responsible to provide an exceptional level of customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.

  • Handles and records transactions through the point-of-sale terminal and prepare daily cash reconciliations.
  • Efficiently process and package all customer purchases to meet established standards
  • Monitor, organize, stock, and tidy merchandise
  • Performs general housekeeping duties (spills, display fixtures, washrooms, etc.) to ensure all areas of responsibility are safe, organized, clean, and tidy.
  • Assist with regular clean up duties to ensure an efficient, safe, and clean location is maintained.
  • Other duties as assigned
