Temporary employees receive an additional 2% in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay. Temporary faculty have the opportunity to contribute to the College Pension Plan, with contributions being matched by the employer.Description:Northern Lights College is currently seeking one or more instructors to instruct components in a fast-paced, technology-based program and collaborative environment, following provincial curriculum. The courses will vary in length and are scheduled to begin in September 2024 and coming to completion in early June 2025.Once completed, the Applied Business Technology Administrative Assistant Certificate program prepares students to work in business, government, and industry offices. Instruction will include current administrative skills in word processing, keyboarding, spreadsheets, automated accounting, bookkeeping, and the utilization of up-to-date Microsoft Office software. The program includes business communications and office procedures courses which enable students to develop the soft skills necessary for success in today #39;s offices. The program has a two-week practicum placement to give students the opportunity to apply their new skills in an office environment.*** If you do not want to be considered for the entire contract, please indicate which of these courses you wish to instruct in your application.
