Job Description

Term of Appt: Not to exceed 35 hours per weekStart date: To be determinedReporting to: Director of Student ServicesSalary:Classification 5, $20.16 - 20.82/hr, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees are provided an additional $0.50/hr in lieu of benefits, and 6% vacation pay, for all regular hours worked. There is an additional $0.63/hr of isolation allowance paid to employees in the Fort Nelson area.Description:To assist in invigilation of a variety of exams on the Dawson Creek campus. Will include marking/grading CAAT exams, executing exam requirements from the examining institution and following invigilation protocol for NLC exams. The individual will also invigilate exams where the exam is read to the student or scribed for the student. Will use the colleges database Colleague to enter scores from internal assessments.**Please indicate preference of shifts available: daytime or evening/weekend.Qualifications:Completion of Grade 12. Experience invigilating in a post-secondary education setting an asset. Ability to invigilate all exams strictly adhering to guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and the security of all tests, and completion of necessary documentation for all tests. Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and the ability to learn databases is essential. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong record keeping and organizational skills.Quick Apply
