Job Description

We are hiring Pipefitters to work on a Turnaround, based on a client site in Fort St. John, BC. This position is expected to start on April 12, 2023, until April 13, 2023, with the potential to return for future projects.What would you be doing

  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
  • Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
  • Maintain and repair piping systems.

  • Apprentice or Journeyperson Pipefitter certificate (Red Seal certificate, if out of province)
  • Picker Truck or Tool Truck
  • Valid and up-to-date tickets:H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, WHMIS, CSO.
  • Enjoy a varied workload.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in English verbal and written communication skills are required.
