Job Description

Our professionalism and expertise in the field have made us the standout company in the industry!CDN is currently looking for a local Parts Runner & Shop Hand to join our Purchasing and Parts Department.   • Complete pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, tools as required
  • General shop maintenance and cleaning
  • Receive shop items and put them into inventory (Re-stocking)
  • Prepare Company trucks for work (cleaning, setting up tools, and decals as needed)
  • Prepare material orders for shipments to other branches, for lay away, or on trucks and trailers heading to site
  • Assist with inventory counts when required
  • Tag new equipment with CDN tags for tracking and identification purposes
  • Assist with the set-up and take-down of monthly safety meetings
  • Completing regular Shop and fork lift inspections
  • Assist Purchasers to insure all orders are received, accounted for and stocked and accounted for in inventory
  • Responsible for accounting for items manually and electronically to ensure Inventory is tract accurately
  • Assist with data base maintenance, entering receivables, and returns
  • Support the Purchasers and Purchasing manager with administrative tasks, filing of purchase orders, and entry of purchase orders into material control system
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting with shipping and receiving is a must
  • Steel toes CSA approved work boots
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean abstract
  • A pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required prior to employment
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
  • Computer literacy with Excel, Outlook and an ability to learn and adapt to internal inventory systems and software’s
