Designed for longer term stays, the spacious rooms are equipped with a full kitchen, living room, and a work desk. We are looking for full-time and part time housekeeping team members.Job Description and ResponsibilitiesTo provide our guests a clean and comfortable room every day while achieving high standards of cleanliness. Must be a people person and have a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service to all of our guests.
  • Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Vacuum rooms and corridors
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
  • Clearing and cleaning surfaces in common areas including dining space, business center and meeting rooms
  • Stock and maintain the supplies required in common areas
  • Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
  • Restock and maintain cleaning and supply trolley on a daily basis
  • Pick up debris and empty trash, recycling containers
  • Comply with the Hilton environmental efforts
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Carry out lost property procedures
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary
Skills Requirements:• Works well under pressure, can multi-task and is able to prioritize• Possess a keen eye for detail• Self-starter, with time management and organizational skills• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)• Knowledge of WHIMS and chemical use an asset• Flexible, efficient and punctual• Able to work independently, or team environment• Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
