Competition #31-085There is a position available for a Transportation Working Foreman. Applications must be completed online and will be accepted until noon, September 27, 2022.Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, this position is responsible for maintaining the School District vehicle fleet including school buses, motorized and non-motorized maintenance vehicles, as well as compressors, light plants and grounds equipment.Hours of Work: (8) hours per dayDuties to Commence: As soon as possible after closingWork Year Base: Twelve (12) months per yearCommencing Salary: $39.73/hr.Duties to be assigned include:Consults with bus drivers and maintenance personnel to schedule vehicle repairs.Oversees the work of mechanics and others as assigned.
