Job Description

Service New BrunswickAccess Management AnalystOpen CompetitionPay Band 2R85-2021/22-1085Flexible Work Location in New BrunswickService New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Health Application Services branch within the Technology Services Division as an Access Management Analyst. As a member of the Technology Services team, you will be reporting to the Manager of Provincial Health Applications and will be responsible to manage access to Healthcare Clinical Networks and applications.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage access to the Corporate Network, applications and data using an auditable process
  • For supported departments, manage access for:
    • Users
    • Groups
    • Mailboxes
    • Public Folders
    • Remote Access Service
    • Network Shares
    • Provide reports to depts. (ex: Inactive Accounts, Group Memberships)
  • Ensure that application/data security is met through compliance with policies/procedures
  • Ensure requests are completed within key performance indicator limits
  • Provide guidance to other teams when resolving access-related issues
  • Assist other teams with account-related aspects of project coordination
  • Assist in the development and documentation of new processes relating to employee access to resources
  • Manage client escalations take ownership of requests and see them to resolution
Please ensure that you indicate the competition number R85-2021/22-1085 when applying.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess a two (2) year program at the community college level in computer technology or in a relevant discipline.Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Please state your language capability on your application and ensure that preferred language for assessment is clearly identified.ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Active Directory management tools
  • Knowledge of User Management tools in Clinical Information systems (i.e. Meditech and/or Allscripts)
