Job Description

Manpower is looking for an Accounting Clerk for one of our exciting clients located in Fredericton, New Brunswick to start immediately!Accounting Clerk - $18-$20/hourWhat is in it for you

  • $18-$20 hour, plus 4% vacation pay
  • Paid weekly, every Friday
  • Two months contract with possibility of extension
  • Remote - work from home with the possibility of the occasional on-site work day
What is the job
  • Receive, sort and/or log mail based on incoming financial or non-financial department/function type work
  • Access and post entries
  • Review reports and reconcile data (e.g., statements, G/L accounts, cashbooks, etc.)
  • Using applicable tools to identify errors, adjustments or discrepancies requiring resolution
  • Investigate differences, escalating and engaging management staff and/or development team
What do you bring to the job
  • Post secondary course in Accounting
  • Experienced with Oracle
  • Flexible and quick learners, able to adapt to continuously evolving needs of both the business and the customer
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills that demonstrate good judgment
  • Demonstrate speed, agility, critical thinking, and problem solving skills in their work
