Job Description

Fix Auto is looking for an Auto Body Prepper!We are looking for an Auto Body Prepper. As an Auto Body Prepper, you will be responsible for prepping various makes and models of vehicles for bodywork and paint. We offer flat rate wages which allows you to maximise your earning potential with a guaranteed minimum hours plus bonus.A day in the Life of an Auto-Body Prepper at Fix Auto

  • Read, understand, and follow work orders.
  • Inspection of projects prior to refinishing to ensure all prep and repair work is complete.
  • Apply masking to the bumpers, windows and trim for primer preparation.
  • Prepare the vehicle for paint; sanding, taping, and applying primer.
  • Clean and smooth surfaces before the application of primer and paint
  • Detailing of paint work such as unmasking, inspection, touch ups, buffing and minor reassembly.
  • Execute minor body work.
