Responsibilities:
  • Restore vehicle paint to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Select and mix paint using automated equipment according to predetermined formulas.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, washing, sanding, filling dents, or removing corrosion.
  • Operate automated or manual spray paint and coating equipment.
  • Apply protective or decorative coatings using compliant hand-held spray guns or brushes.
  • Perform touch-ups and small item painting.
  • Clean and maintain painting, ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment.
  • Inspect, record, and report defects in products.
  • Prepare and maintain a clean worksite.
  • Assist with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery and materials.
  • Operate and maintain air monitoring equipment in confined or hazardous spaces.
  • Load, unload, and distribute materials, machinery, and tools per project specifications.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an automotive painter, preferably in a collision repair setting.
  • Preferred, Certification or Training in Automotive Refinishing or Collision Repair
  • Proficiency in color matching and mixing techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard painting equipment and materials.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety and hazardous material handling.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
