Fredericton Animal Hospital has an immediate opening for a part-time Client Care Representative (receptionist) to join our team. We are looking for a friendly, service-oriented individual with a passion for delivering a high standard of care to both clients and patients. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment while making connections with our valued clients, patients, and other team members. If you love being an essential part of a team while using your skill set to make a difference to clients and patients then you are the candidate we are looking for!A typical day in a vet hospital is fast paced, challenging and can be draining, but the ideal candidate thrives in this kind of environment. You love meeting people and making positive connections, but can also handle unhappy clients with aplomb. You have extreme communication skills and are comfortable educating clients about products and treatments available to them.In this position, you will be responsible for answering general queries (by phone and email), scheduling appointments, greeting clients, selling food, providing education about vaccines and other medical services, handling cash and invoicing clients, making reminder calls and emails, and other client service and administrative duties. You will also communicate with the medical team regarding client queries, scheduling needs etc.Experience working in a veterinary environment is an asset, however we also encourage those with less experience, but who have a strong desire to learn and excel to apply.
