Reporting to the General Manager of both the Crowne Plaza Fredericton- Lord Beaverbrook and the General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Fredericton Downtown, the Dual Sales Manager will play a strategic and dynamic role in the hotel’s operations.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of annual sales goalsAbility to travel (locally and out of town)Become completely familiar with our hotels and with key competitors, understanding their products, services, weaknesses, and strengths (S.W.O.T. Analysis)Attend and contribute to regular Sales & Revenue meetingsMeet budgeted sales and profit margins by prospecting, selling, and confirming business as requiredFlexibility regarding additional / changing market segments as we rationalize our dual property sales teamDevelop data and recommend programs to meet the needs of the clientsPrepare proposals that are geared to maximize profitAttend trade shows to develop new business and to contact established clientsConduct market analysis and to determine client needs, occupancy potential and desired rateMaintain great working relationships with existing and future clientsSKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience preferredDiploma in Hospitality & Tourism is an assetGoal oriented and determined to achieve set goalsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong knowledge of local businesses and business trendsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to speak in both official languages considered an assetValid driver’s license and own vehicleJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
