We provide a variety of services, which include dine-in, take-out, catering, and delivery. We are currently seeking a finance administrative assistant to join our team. Under the direction of owner, the personnel is responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the team through the day-to-day general office administration, finance and payroll processes.Duties: Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions and financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Process and track all invoices, expenses, and payments in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate representation of financial transactions Communicate and collaborate with accounting firm to assist in tax payment and financial report preparation Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against budgetary targets. Assist the manager to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages; welcome visitors and direct them to contacts Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner Provide manager reminders and paperwork processing such as: performance reviews due, new hire/termed associate paperwork, appointments, messages, spreadsheets, files. Place office supply orders for the entire teamSkill Requirements:Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.Excellent organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Salary: $18.5-$24 hourly for 37.5 hours per week (to be negotiated)Work Experience:1-2 years of equivalent experienceExperience in financial services practices and accounting practices considered an asset (e.g., maintaining accounting records, tax transaction, general ledger, etc.).Experience working in a comparable client-focused environment considered an assetEducation:College or equivalent experienceContact information: Application deadline: 2024-02-09
