Job Description

AM Host - HostessWe are looking for a Host or Hostess to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests.Host/Hostess responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure.Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet guests upon their arrival
  • Provide expertise on food and beverage menu items to assist guests with their choices and ensure they are aware of the daily specials
  • Monitor tables to ensure the patrons are satisfied
  • Clear tables promptly and replenish supplies as needed
  • Perform daily side duties as necessary and when asked
  • Address guest concerns, if any in a positive and helpful manner
  • Work and communicate in a professional and ethical manner
  • Adhere to and maintain company policies and provincial regulations concerning alcohol consumption, health, and safety
  • Run procedural protocols to open and close as necessary
  • Provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Highly organized and time efficient
  • Ability to handle difficult situations, accommodate special requests
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Able to maintain a flexible work schedule, including weeknights and weekends
  • A strong desire to exceed guest expectations
  • Ability to speak in both official languages is considered an asset
