Responsible for full cycle recruitment activities from sourcing to closing of positions. This position will assist in growth and executing recruitment activities in all North American locationsHow You’ll HelpCollaborate with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to execute on the recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, administering reference checks, hiring and onboarding candidates.Develop working knowledge of each position assigned by conducting in take meetings with the hiring managers to fully understand the business needs and requirements.Posting job posting on our internal and external job sitesBuilding a strong pipeline of candidates by collaborating with our COE team and participating in special career projects such as job fairs, business specific talent acquisition programs, schools presentations, social media activities, networking events, etc.Promote employment brand awareness to attract top talent by assisting the COE in developing, sustaining and innovating strategies to cultivate talent for short and long term hiring needs.Complete onboarding and hiring process in the HRIS and ensure new hire data is ready for payrollOther projects related to Talent Acquisition as requiredYour Skills & Experience:Post-secondary education preferred.A suitable combination of education and experience may also be considered.1-2 years of experience in full cycle recruitment.Transportation experience is considered a strong asset.Experience working with cross functional teams is consider an assetAdvanced communication skills, both verbal and written.Computer skills – accuracy, MS products, web based programs.Resourceful – ability to think outside of the box to find suitable candidates for hard to fill positions.Demonstrated customer service skills.Strong conflict resolution skills.Strong organizational skillsAttention to detail and demonstrating a high sense of urgency in delivering high quality service to internal and external clientsAbility to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues.Ability to work independently and to collaborate with a teamResults focused.Fluent in English required, other languages considered an asset.Up to 25% percent travel may be required within North AmericaPlease note that the successful candidate will be subject to reference and criminal background checks prior to employment.We thank you for your application, but only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.As a federally regulated employer, Day & Ross fully supports the principles of employment equity and encourages all qualified members of the designated groups to apply.Function: Human ResourcesLocation(s): Fredericton || CA - Canada : New Brunswick : Centreville || CA - Canada : New Brunswick : Edmundston || CA - Canada : New Brunswick : Florenceville-Bristol || CA - Canada : New Brunswick : Fredericton || CA - Canada : New Brunswick : Hartland || CA - Canada : New Brunswick : SomervilleQuick Apply
