Job Description

Service New BrunswickWorkforce Officer (ASL 4)10047Casual or Temporary OpportunityFlexible within New BrunswickService New Brunswick is seeking individuals to join the Human Resources Branch as a Workforce Officer working in New Brunswick with a flexible work locationAs a member of the Strategy and Organizational Development Unit, the successful candidate will be responsible to complete Super User tasks and provide support for the Time & Labour, Absence and Core HR modules in the newly launched Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP). As a Superuser, they provide guidance to Employees, Line Managers and the HR Team, and are the contact for issues escalated from Tier 1 (shared services). Working in conjunction with the HR team, they make system updates, provide employee information, make changes or updates to employee information, structures and relationships within the system and make system adjustments. They also enter absences or report time that the Employee/Line Manager do not have security to enter, such as LTD. They have access to dashboards, data and reports in order to review and audit when necessary.The successful candidate will be responsible to:

  • Create and maintain employee information
  • Manage leaves and absences in ERP where the employee does not have access or cannot enter leave.
  • Assist with resolving HR Core and time related issues in Fusion
  • Update employee information, assignment information and enroll employees in absence plan and update as required for employees not defaulted in plan
  • Respond to enquiries that have been escalated regarding the Fusion system and the employee information
  • Complete, maintain and reassign as needed tickets assigned through Client Service Center
  • Participate in Super User meetings and training sessions
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert within the HR team
  • Support the organization in future deployment waves
  • Other tasks as assigned based on future deployments and enhancements of ERP system
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or successful completion of GED, supplemented by graduation from a one (1) year post-secondary program in a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of related experience (ASL 3) OR a minimum of four (4) years of related experience (ASL 4).
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.   • Experience in Accounting and/or Payroll.
  • Experience using an ERP System (i.e Oracle Fusion or other)
