Job DetailsDescriptionReporting to the Director, Financial Applications, the Business Analyst, will be a member of the Finance Applications team and contribute to the support, configuration, enhancement, development, and implementation of the ERP and financial applications suite.ResponsibilitiesServe as the ERP Business Analyst for various modular subject matter areas including core finance and accounting, record to report, and order to cash business cycles.Act as the prime liaison between the business groups and the Financial application teamPerform business analysis functions including requirements gathering, documentation, ERP application configuration, process design, testing and training activitiesProduce comprehensive, clear and concise documentation in all areas of responsibilityAssist with complex support incidents and requests by investigating system issues, identifying root causes, recommending and driving resolutionsLead smaller initiatives including planning, documenting and executing project plansProactively suggest ways to improve the effectiveness and performance of processes and procedures related to the ERP applicationCommunicate and collaborate with decision-makers, system owners, and end users to analyze information needs and functional requirements;RequirementsExperience as an ERP business analyst working within the accounting, order to cash or related subject areasCapable of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;Ability to work effectively in ambiguous or changing situations; ability to manage time effectively;Strong analytical and management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements;Ability to identify problems and deal with situations and issues proactively;Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and effectively with executives, managers, and subject matter experts;Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a conscientious, consistent and thorough manner;Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;Familiar with business analysis methodology and frameworks including the BABOKExposure in the areas of application integration and methodologies, business process design, process re-engineering and continuous improvement;Exposure to internal control procedures and audit requirements in relation to a SOX environmentFamiliar with core ITIL concepts and principles of IT ManagementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology or related field;CBAP certification or pursuant of related business analysis professional development coursesMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in a business analysis, finance or audit capacity;Bilingualism (French and English) will be considered an asset.Experience with IFS ERP solution considered an asset
