Claims Adjudicator — Remote We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused professional to support mortgage creditor insurance operations in a full-time remote position based in Quebec. This role focuses on conducting intake calls, reviewing documents, preparing communications, and facilitating claim processing. It offers the chance to contribute to a collaborative and high-performance environment while managing confidential client information and supporting service-level goals.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $21 to $22, based on experience.• 6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.• Enjoy the flexibility of remote work.Responsibilities:• Conduct initial intake calls with claimants and update claim tasks.• Organize and work within claims systems to access and manage client information.• Review and prepare insurance claim forms and related documents for completeness.• Provide limited guidance to clients on claims procedures and refer to appropriate resources.• Assess coverage eligibility and initiate communication with claimants.• Prepare written correspondence for additional information requests and decisions.• Summarize employment and mortgage lender documents accurately.• Assist adjudicators with reporting and other administrative tasks as needed.• Maintain service standards by collaborating with the team lead on performance goals.• Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.What you will need to succeed:• High school diploma or GED required.• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience preferred.• Previous experience in insurance or claims adjudication is an asset.• Familiarity with medical conditions and terminology is an asset.• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.• High attention to detail with the ability to analyze and process complex documentation.• Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion with confidential information.• Effective time management and organizational skills.• Ability to remain composed and constructive in high-pressure or emotionally charged situations.• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team setting.• Bilingual in English and French to support clients in both languages.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2504511) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
