Job Description

Sterling est un steakhouse québécois situé au bord de la rivière Gatineau. Notre menu se concentre principalement la cuisine maison en utilisant uniquement des ingrédients dorigine locale. Notre boucherie sur place et notre grill au bois dérable sont notre fierté et notre signature qui nous rendent uniques.Nous sommes à la recherche dune personne bilingue qui connaît bien le domaine de la restauration et qui peut gérer lensemble des activités du restaurant. Le candidat idéal est une personne qui est fière dexploiter une entreprise efficace tout en offrant une excellente expérience culinaire à nos clients.Les tâches comprennent :

  • Communiquer avec le Chef et le Sommelier lors de réunions hebdomadaires afin délaborer la meilleure stratégie pour les opérations commerciales.
  • Planification des horaires du personnel de service
  • Gestion de linventaire
  • Communiquer avec les clients pour les commandes de banquets.
  • Interviewer et embaucher le personnel
  • Travailler avec le Chef pour déléguer les attentes et les normes au reste de léquipe Sterling.
Nous espérons vous rencontrer.---Sterling is a Quebecois Steakhouse located beside the Gatineau river. Our menu primarily focuses on from scratch cooking using only locally sourced ingredients. Our on-site butcher shop and maple wood fired grill are our pride and signature pieces that makes us unique.Were looking for a bilingual individual whos very familiar with the restaurant business and can manage the overall operations of the restaurant. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in operating an efficient business while providing an excellent dining experience to our guests.Duties include:
  • Communicating with the Chef & Sommelier with weekly meetings to strategize the best course of action for business operations.
  • Scheduling for the serving staff
  • Inventory Management
  • Communicating with clients for banquet orders.
  • Interviewing & Hiring Staff
  • Working with the Chef to properly delegate expectations & standards to the rest of the Sterling Team.

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Gatineau, QC J8T 2W3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • Restaurant management: 1 year (required)
