Job Description

Are you looking for a new opportunity in a fast-moving global company with a family feel A job where you could have an impactWe are looking for a Project Manager to support service delivery with our Government of Canada client.The Project Manager is responsible for the efficient use of company systems, coordinating these between internal and external stakeholders, managing the service delivery/implementation team (including client teams), and monitoring/reporting on project progress.This position will fulfil a key role both internally at RHEA and with our client, liaising across business operations, service delivery teams, and corporate business services functions (HR, Finance, Digital Enterprise, Legal & Contract Administration, Recruitment, and Corporate Security).About the team and locationThe Project Manager reports internally to the Vice-President: Business Development & Sales, whilst working closely with RHEA Canada’s external Government of Canada client and reporting through the client’s reporting structure.The successful candidate will have the option of working out of RHEA’s Gatineau office, as well as remote options. There is an expectation that there will be on-site requirements on client premises, in the National Capital Region as well as (occasionally) internationally.Tasks and ActivitiesThe scope of work will include:

  • Managing the project during the development, implementation, and operations start-up by ensuring that resources are made available and that the project is developed.
  • Managing the creation and maintenance of project documentation.
  • Liaising with subject matter experts across multiple organizations and departments.
  • Formulating statements for problems and managing the establishment of the development and implementation of significant, new, or modified project elements to solve these problems.
  • Defining and documenting the objectives for the project including determining budgetary requirements, schedules, risks, and project team composition, roles, and responsibilities and terms of reference for the project team.
  • Preparing formal task proposals, work breakdown structures, and compliance charts.
  • Preparing draft procurement documents, including statements of work and evaluation plans, criteria, and evaluation schedules.
  • Creating and providing briefings on progress and concerns of projects.
  • Providing reports and presentations as required.
Skills and ExperienceThe following skills and experience are mandatory:
  • In possession of a Project Management Professional or Prince2 certification.
  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience working on major capital projects with the Government of Canada.
  • Experience working on physical security projects in a high-security context.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • In possession of a Government of Canada security clearance at the level of Secret.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
  • In possession of an ITIL certification.
  • Fluent in French, both written and spoken.
