In order to achieve this, CARSTAR offers the following services; auto body repairs, refinishing, glass repair/replacement, fleet management, and direct repair estimates.We are seeking applicants for all the following positions:Auto Body TechnicianThe body technician increases the efficiency of the store by ensuring they follow a systematic approach to all repairs. They must be highly organized and must keep excellent documentation, in order to minimize losses. They must be able to read and understand the estimate to ensure the parts being utilized mirror match the vehicle parts to be replaced. Any incorrect items need to be documented on the supplemental damage sheet and communicated immediately.Full Red Seal certification required.Auto Body ApprenticesThe auto body apprentice is responsible for assisting and learning all aspects of the repair process from their journeyman. The goal is to move them through their education levels and achieve their full Red Seal certification.Enrolment, or pending enrolment into the Apprenticeship Manitoba program is required.Automotive PainterThe automotive painter is responsible for prepping, painting and priming, and performing light bodywork tasks. They must be proficient and understand the capabilities of fluids and formulations to maximize efficiencies in various applications of paint using different products. The focus will be on assisting the team achieving cycle time goals and prioritizing the workload.Customer Service Representative (CSR)The CSR is the first impression that customers and other visitors have when they walk into or call CARSTAR. This person is responsible for creating a front office atmosphere that fosters a high level of service. The CSR is the main point of contact for customers and potential customers; and assists the Manager. They should possess a cheerful character and a helpful, polite and courteous attitude towards customers. They must be well-groomed and dress appropriately, have keyboarding skills, a good work attitude and foster a positive team spirit both within the department as well as between the other departments in support with the overall philosophy of the company and fellow employees.DetailerAs the final point of contact on a customer’s vehicle, the detailer position leaves the final impression about the shop. This person is responsible for creating a long-lasting relationship potentially without ever interacting directly with the customer. They will be responsible for assisting the store managers and techs with keeping performance and productivity within the store at an exemplary level.Why Choose CARSTAR:
