Athabasca Catering LP is currently seeking a Cook to support our Aurora Recovery Centre kitchen operations.Duties and Responsibilities: -Prepare and cook a wide variety of food for menu preparation-Prepare food to meet quality standards.-Carry out directives of Chef or designate as requested.-Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained.-Maintain an orderly and clean environment.-Ensure all food items remain stocked.-Set up front line for meal service as required.-Serve the meal lines during meal service periods-Tear down line, put away food, including cleaning and refilling steam table as needed.-Other duties as assignedQualifications: -Completion of a recognized professional cooking course would be considered an asset.-1 year cooking experience in a busy kitchen environment.-Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid, recognized food safe certificate-Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.-Physical ability to perform assigned duties.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:
