Job Description

Production SupervisorFaroex Ltd, located in Gimli, Manitoba, is a manufacturer of plastic and composite products for the Agriculture, Alternative Energy, and Mass Transportation markets.We are currently seeking full-time employee to fill the position of Production Supervisor:Job Duties:

  • Under the leadership and guidance of production manager, conducts shift transition meetings with the employees in an efficient and responsible manner.
  • Monitor and provide regular feedback to team members about their performance to correct or compliment accordingly.
  • Train new employees and provide on going training to existing staff.
  • Achieve quality standards and maintain a safe workplace environment.
  • Work with the Health & Safety Committee to focus on Safety issues, promote good housekeeping to maintain a safe working environment and workplace.
Job Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a hands-on supervisory role.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is desirable and experience working with injection molding and/or Pultrusion is an asset, but not required.
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand, power, and measuring tools.
Skills & Capabilities:
  • Proven decision making, problem solving, conflict resolution and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, perform a variety of tasks and meet required deadlines and targets.
  • Drivers license with reliable means of transportation.
  • This is a daytime role (7.45 am - 4.15 pm) and salary will be commensurate with experience.
