We are looking forward to growing our business and sharing our passion of wellness and knowledge with our clients and new member of our team.Job description:Bounce Right Back Massage is currently hiring dedicated, qualified Registered Acupuncturist. We have a part time/full time position available to start in February 2024. It would be great to have an Acupuncturist join our team of massage therapists and help our current and future clients with their health concerns.We are looking for a self-motivated, hard working Acupuncturist to join our team. We are a small, private business and pride ourselves on building connections with our customers. The applicant must be able to work independently, as well as part of our small team and be confident in their skills. Looking for evenings (2-8:30pm) and weekends.Qualifications:

• Acupuncture or DTCM certificate.
• Registration and in good standing with the College and Association of Acupuncturist of Alberta.
• Knowledge and experience with Eastern and Western therapeutic philosophies.
• MVA knowledge is an asset.
• Practitioner will provide their own industry specific supplies. (herbs, needles)
• Strong interpersonal skills between other practitioners and patients.
• Previous experience considered an asset.
• Professional liability and malpractice insurance.
• Current CPR certification.

Description of duties:

• Perform acupuncture treatments to improve patient’s natural self-healing and prevent or treat illness.
• Perform complimentary modalities such as Gua sha, cupping, electro-acupuncture, Low Level Laser Therapy,Tuina massage, auricular therapy etc.
• Collaborate with other health care practitioners at PIH to develop and implement short and long term patient care plans.
• Perform patient intake and assessment.
• Schedule patients in lieu of administrative assistant.
• Assist with other clinic activities as required.
• Actively participate in the Client Care Program and Internal Referral processes to continue to maintain the highest quality of client-centred care.
• Uphold your own personal values at all times.
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Bounce Right Back Massage at all times, including “unwritten” values such as treating each and every member of the organization with kindness, compassion, empathy and respect
• Conduct client assessments to determine the most appropriate course of treatment.
• The Acupuncturist after each session manages billing, invoicing, answering phone calls and rebooking appointments. (will teach how to direct bill to different insurance companies).
• The Acupuncturist must complete all charting notes after every client.
• The Acupuncturist sanitizes the room, helps with the laundry and preparing room for next appointment. (cleaning supplies, linens, blankets and oils provided).
• Communication skills are a must. Listen closely to clients in order to understand what they want to achieve through their session.
• Time management is a must.

Salary: Acupuncturist will receive a 65% split.
