Company descriptionBounce Right Back Massage is a cozy massage therapy business facing south on Stony Plain Rd and 146st. Busy road with lots of constant traffic and potential for new clientele. We are looking forward to growing our business and sharing our passion of wellness and knowledge with our clients and new member of our team.Job descriptionBounce Right Back Massage is currently hiring dedicated, qualified Registered Massage Therapists. We have a part-time/full-time position available to start in February 2024.We are a massage clinic on the west end of Edmonton with the potential for many new clients. We are looking for self-motivated, hard-working RMT’s to join our team. We are a small, private business and pride ourselves on building connections with our customers. The applicant must be able to work independently, as well as part of our small team and be confident in their skills. Looking for evenings (2-8:30pm) and weekends.Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Certificate in Massage Therapy (2200-hour program)
  • Member in good standing with NHPC, MTAA, CMMOTA, CRMTA, or ACMT
  • 1 or more years of experience as an RMT.
  • Bringing potential clientele is considered an asset
  • other modalities/certifications (cupping, hot stone massage, Rapid NFR, reflexology, etc.) considered an asset.
  • current CPR certification
  • Valid membership and liability insurance with a provincial association
  • Looking for someone who works well as part of a small team and independently.
  • Self-motivated and self-driven
  • You should be able to provide appropriate at-home tips, techniques, stretches, and exercises.
Description of duties:
  • Conduct client assessments to determine the most appropriate course of treatment.
  • You must be able to administer appropriate and professional quality massage and massage techniques within your scope of practice.
  • Suggest appropriate home care and provide information about techniques for postural improvement, stretching and strengthening.
  • The therapist after the session manages billing, invoicing, answering phone calls and rebooking appointments. (will teach how to direct bill to different insurance companies).
  • The therapist must complete all charting notes after every client.
  • The therapist sanitizes the room, washroom and laundry service for linens and preparing room for next appointment. (cleaning supplies, linens, blankets and oils provided).
  • Communication skills are a must. Listen closely to clients in order to understand what they want to achieve through their massage session.
  • Time management is a must.
Salary:
  • RMT will receive a 65% split and all tips go directly to RMT.
