Shipper (Truck Loader) - Jobs in Glenwood

Job Description

Scotts Canada Ltd., in St. Margaret #39;s, NB, is seeking individuals interested in employment within the Shipping Department. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Yard cleanup
• Pile covering
• Load preparation
• Loading of product onto dry vans, containers and flatbed trailers
• Unloading of packaging and pallets

Applicants MUST:

• Work in a safe manner and display a good attitude
• Have reliable transportation
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Be capable of working overtime
• Be capable of working in a dusty environment and in cold and hot conditions
• Be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Meet minimum performance standards
• Have experience in operating an articulated forklift, or be willing to be trained as an operator
• Have a Class 1 driver’s license OR be able to demonstrate competence operating a yard jockey with automatic transmission and air brakes
• No have physical restrictions limiting one’s ability to properly wear Personal Protective Equipment
• Provide a CPIC (Criminal Record) Check. Note: This is NOT a requirement for current Scotts Associates
